You can search the library catalogue and make reservations (members only) from our stock of books, audio/spoken word, playaways and large print books, CDs, DVDs, local studies material and music scores. We hold stock in various community languages including Urdu, Punjabi, Gujurati,Chinese, Russian, Pashto, Farsi and European languages. Dual language books suitable for children are also available.

Our eBook and audio download library is a collection of fiction and non-fiction titles available for library members who have a Lancashire postcode to download anytime and anywhere. You can make a reservation by logging into Your Account. Items available for loan can be requested online, by email, phone or in person at any library. You can also request items that are on loan. If you are placing a reservation please be aware that a charge, per item, will be payable on collection. There is no charge for audio/visual items and some borrowers may be exempt from these charges and there is no charge for anyone under 16.
Reservations can be collected from any specified library and you will be notified about your reservation by email, text message, automated phone message, or post, when your item becomes available for collection. You will also be able to check Your Account online to see if your reservation has arrived.
If you register for Library Elf you can also get updates about your account by email. These include early notification of due date, immediate notification when an item becomes overdue, reservation notification and the option to monitor multiple accounts.
