Arts Development Unit
provides opportunities for people in Lancashire to experience and participate in a wide range of high quality arts and cultural activities.
County Museums Service
cares for much of Lancashire's cultural environment through the management of collections and historic buildings
Lancashire Adult Learning
enabling adults in Lancashire to return to and achieve success in learning.
Lancashire Student Services
provides information advice and guidance on the financial assistance available to young people and adults wanting to participate in Further and Higher Education
Library Service
reading, learning and information online and from branches and mobile libraries throughout the county.
Lancashire Record Office
looks after historic documents relating to Lancashire from about 1115 to the present day.
Registrars and Coroners
handles the registrations of births, marriages and deaths in Lancashire and provides information about getting married, forming a civil partnership or obtaining related certificates.
Social Care services for adults
provides support that meets the needs of our local communities. Our services are about putting people first - promoting independence, opportunity and protection.
Welfare rights
the Welfare Rights Service exists to help you, your family, and your friends, with claims for the whole range of social security and local authority benefits and tax credits.
