Environmental Health

Main Details

It is now over 150 years since the first Public Health Act was introduced. The fight to protect the health, safety and welfare of people in Lancashire continues.

Environmental Health, which covers issues such as pollution control, bins, rubbish, noise, pest control and dog wardens, is regulated and controlled by your local district council.

If you have problems with these issues, or problems with infestations of wasps, squirrels, moles, mice, vermin etc please see the contacts tab for links to your local council.

Lancashire County Council makes every effort to ensure that the links to other web sites are accurate and up-to-date. Where a District Council does not provide information on their website about a particular service, a link is made to the home page of that council rather than to the exact service page.
