Permit Scheme - Waste

The Recycling Centre's operate a permit scheme and access policy which restricts their use by certain large vehicles and trailers.

Permit Information and Application

An access policy is in operation at Lancashire County Council's recycling centres which means people who use certain commercial type vehicles or trailers must obtain a free permit before they may visit one of our recycling centres.

There are two types of permits available;

1. Recyclable Waste Permit (Annual) - (more information)
2. General Waste Permit (Monthly) - (more information)

You can now apply online for your permit. Please note that first time users will need to register before they can complete the application process.

From the 1st March 2013 the Waste Management Group aims to process, print and post out all permit applications received before 8am on the next working day. 

Please allow up to 7 days for receipt of your permit in the post.
