Parents must express all their Secondary School preferences by either completing an on-line application or a paper application (not both). In addition a supplementary form may also be required by most Voluntary Aided Schools and Foundation Schools. This is not a legal requirement but must be completed if you want your application to be assessed against the schools admission criteria.
Paper application forms should be returned by Sunday 31 October 2010. Offers of school places will be issued to all applicants on 1st March 2011.

All parents must complete either an on-line or paper application form to be registered in the Secondary School Admissions process. Parents may also contact individual Voluntary Aided Schools and Foundation Schools for their supplementary form.

You can download the Secondary North / South / East booklet for schools in your area as well as admission policies. These booklets are also available from Area Education Offices or from main Libraries at Burnley, Chorley, Leyland, Nelson, Rawtenstall, Skelmersdale, St Annes and Fleetwood.
