Charges for library services

There will be major changes to library fees and charges from 1st June 2012. Details of our current charges, including overdue loans.

Children and Young People's Library Services

The Library service offers books, music, DVDs, activities, computer and internet facilities for children and young people.

Digital library

Get access to your accounts, download an eBook or audiobook at home and search our free information resources from any internet device 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Get it loud in libraries

Get It Loud In Libraries is a pioneering pop culture project designed to engage young people with libraries through great live music.

Home library service

The Home Library Service is provided to all customers who are unable by reason of age, disability or infirmity, to get to a Library building.

Internet and computers in libraries

Free access at the library to the internet, Microsoft Office applications and printing.

Join the library

Anyone who resides in the UK may join and it's free.

Library Catalogue

You can search and reserve books, eBooks, CDs, videos, DVDs, maps, audio/spoken word books on our catalogues.

Mobile library services

Mobile libraries serve communities with limited access to a local library building.

Renew your library book

You can renew your library loans any time online, in person or by phone using your library card number and PIN.

Wi-Fi in Libraries

Free wireless internet access is available in some of our libraries.
