To help you as a carer, we work in partnership with Carers Lancashire who provide support to all carers across our county.
Forum meetings give carers from across the County the chance to meet together with elected Council members, officers from Adult Social Services and representatives from the Health Trusts.
Supporting and protecting vulnerable people who are not able to make their own decisions
The rehabilitation service provides specialist assessment, training, information and advice to people with visual impairments and their carers.
There may come a time where you can no longer manage at home with help and after discussions with family and friends you feel that residential care would be best for you.
Our volunteers provide support, befriending and companionship in the community.
Young carers are children or young people who look after someone in their family who has an illness, a disability, a mental health problem or a substance misuse problem.
