News: Family Fun Day For Children With Special Needs

Parents Information Network (Fylde & Wyre) is holding an exclusive family fun and information day for families of children with special needs at Dunes Conference Centre at Pontins in Lytham St Annes on Saturday 3rd July (10am-4pm).

The fun-packed day will be officially opened by local MP, Joan Humble, and local celebrity, Bobby Ball.

Children's activities will include go-karting, swimming, football and kids clubs.

Parents and carers will have access to a range of information and will be invited to walk round stands and attend special workshops and meet other carers in discussion groups.

A variety of local agencies and voluntary organisations will be attending and manning information stalls including Lancashire County Council Social Services, LCC Education Directorate, Surestart, Carers point!, Lancashire Parents Partnership, PIP, Cerebral Palsy Association, Fleetwood Attention Deficit Disorder Group (FADDS), Family Fund, and Autism Blackpool Children (ABC) Group.

A family ticket including full entry to Pontins and entertainment for children cost £5.00 (concessions available).

A creche is available.
