Burscough Bridge Interchange

In November 2005 a modern interchange facility was opened at Burscough Bridge station adjacent to the Southport bound platform. Facilities include a Customer Service office providing local transport information and the full range of train tickets and rail cards. There is also a Community Café on site as well.

Carnforth Connect

Housed in a restored part of the original Carnforth station buildings, Carnforth Connect is the name given to the integrated transport project covering Carnforth and the rural areas of North Lancashire and South Cumbria. It offers local transport, with timed services to connect with trains at Carnforth Rail Station, and a staffed interchange office providing the full range of train tickets and rail cards.      

Chorley Interchange

In 2004 a modern bus station facility was opened as a key flagship site for Chorley town Centre. The bus station, which has good pedestrian crossing to the refurbished railway station, uses electronic screens to display local rail times, whilst in the railway stations bus departures are displayed.

Clitheroe Interchange

The award winning Clitheroe Interchange continues to go from strength to strength. Established to improve passenger confidence in using public transport in a rural area Clitheroe Interchange has won a series of national awards. The interchange has a Customer Service Office providing local transport information and the full range of train tickets and rail cards.

Nelson Interchange

December 2008 saw the latest of Lancashire's transport interchanges opened. This modern facility includes a 10 bay bus station and has direct access to the trains via a ramp or a lift. The interchange has a Customer Service Office providing local transport information and the full range of train tickets and rail cards
