Lancashire Local Committees

The County Council has, in partnership with District Councils, established Lancashire Local Committees as part of a devolution project. The aim of the devolution project is to bring decision making on county functions closer to communities, strenghten policy making to reflect local needs, develop further joint working between the County Council and District Council and enhance engagement with parish and town councils.

Each Lancashire Local can establish Sub Committees to deal with specific issues and the agenda/minutes for these can be accessed via the menu on the left hand side of the screen. By selecting the link for the individual Local you will then be able to click on a link relating to the Sub Committees of that particular Local.
