JDO East Cliff base - Agile

The Elective Home Education Team is seeking qualified teachers interested in part time work supporting families who have elected to educate their children at home.

An exciting opportunity has arisen as a result of a restructure of service delivery to join a newly established team working for a local authority committed to high expectations for all learners. The post will involve working to offer support to home educating families across the county through developing positive relationships with parents/carers, providing advice on elective home education, assessing provision and quality assuring judgements regarding provision.

The post will entail agile working and we will consider requests for part time hours up to 0.5 FTE. As you will be working across a wide geographical area a driving licence and access to a vehicle will be essential.

You must been a qualified teacher.
ICT qualification
You will have:
- experience of working with and engaging parents/carers
- experience of working in an education setting
- experience of assessment of pupil progress
- experience of using ICT software
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- experience of working with and engaging parents/carers, and of working in an education setting.
Knowledge and understanding of range of EHE methods and styles, Adaptability to changing circumstances and new ideas.
