The Governors of this popular, successful one form entry catholic primary school are seeking to appoint a qualified teacher that has experience of teaching in Key Stage 2 from September 2012.
The successful candidate will be expected to be an excellent classroom practitioner, have a good working knowledge of the KS2, to work as part of an enthusiastic, flexible team and to promote high standards of achievement and behaviour. We are looking for someone that has a good working knowledge of APP for assessment. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the whole life of the school, be committed to their own learning as well as that of the children and be committed to promoting our strong catholic ethos.

Even though on the application form, it does ask for a supporting statement, governors prefer applicants to submit a letter, a maximum of 2 sides in length of A4, size 12 font which should address the Person Specification criteria.

Due to the nature of the work, this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful candidate must be able to obtain a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure (via the Criminal Records Bureau) in order to be appointed to the post.
