Carnforth Christ Church CofE Primary School

Christ Church is a successful school (Ofsted short inspection - January 2017) situated in the market town of Carnforth, on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to Morecambe Bay and the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks.
The school is set in extensive grounds with easy access to the motorway.

The Governors wish to appoint an inspirational leader and offer:

We are looking for someone who:

  • is a practising Christian committed to upholding and enhancing the school's strong Christian character

  • has effective leadership and management skills that can nurture, inspire and challenge both staff and pupils

  • has high expectations and a desire to continue the drive to secure the best possible outcomes for our pupils

  • can safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils

The post will be subject to enhanced DBS checks.
